  • Love this church and completely love the Pastor and his wife!! Such authentic, passionate love for the Lord, and genuine love for people! This church is filled with biblical teaching, Holy Spirit-led services/worship, and real people who just love others!

  • After having a very difficult time finding a church that is accepting, genuine, and full of love we found the vineyard with pastor Dale. Dale has a heart of gold and authentically loves people. His messages speak truth in a loving and gentle and easy to understand way. In the early stages of our time there I had a chance to talk with Dale about some things near to my heart and let me say that I was shocked at how loving and accepting his responses were (as opposed to most pastor's responses with these sensitive subjects). The children's staff is so incredible too. They have messages for the kids that my 3 yr old always comes home talking about for weeks. They love kids the way Jesus does. This church is constantly seeking out ways to be better which Is hard to find in a church. If you are looking for a place that seeks to walk like Jesus did then you've got it here.

    **** UPDATE 5/1/17 ****

When I posted my original review there was just one other review and it was by the pastor, Dale McMillian. Within 2-3 hours of my post, the SAME day, 7 people posted! Apparently, the pastor contacted members to add reviews that reflect the church in a positive light. Coincidentally, 7 to 12 people is about the majority of the church membership.

I have never heard of or known a pastor that would manipulate reviews in this manner. That action seems very heavy-handed and self-serving. I was recently sent a LinkedIn invitation from one of the church life group leaders which I refused. Not certain why I was contacted in this manner but pray this is an isolated incident.

    **** ORIGINAL REVIEW ****

Vineyard Community Church has a small congregation which I consider a plus as I am leery of larger churches. I have attended 2 Vineyard churches (one in another state) and they were excellent. This Vineyard does not compare with my previous experience and, by far, has the worst pastor, Dale McMillian.

I requested prayer from Dale and asked him to speak in tongues but he retorted he does not "speak in tongues on demand." I found this strange since the other Vineyards I visited did this without anyone having to ask.

Dale will discuss you with others without your knowledge. He once claimed God told him not to answer an email from my family and me because of our strong conviction against the sin of homosexuality. This makes Dale nothing short of a coward.

He did, however, take a very strong stand against pornography when I visited and this is very much needed in our world today.

I would not recommend this church but if they changed to a pastor with stronger, Bible-based principles it might be worth your time.

  • I simply love this church and the people in it. I have never been to a vineyard before this one and I simply love their values. The pastor and his wife are simply amazing. They are kind, loving, merciful, and very real. They love the Lord and it shows. The people in the church are so loving and caring. My family and I definitely feel like it's our home and they are our family. They prayed and loved on us when we go through something or even when we don't. God has done amazing things and you definitely feel the Holy Spirit move. I never felt this way about a church before. I felt loved before but at this church they go above and beyond to show you love and how God loves all people.

  • Amazing church! Dale McMillian was my youth pastor growing up and a foundational Christian role model for me. From my time at Frisco Vineyard I encountered God's presence and love in a fresh way.
